I"m not finished with this beer. After the first bottle, I think that next time I"ll find more of the complexity, that this beer perhaps has. I"m going to buy this beer a lot. Carlsberg is hopefully over the ’waterbeers’. The alcoholcontent of 4.1% is fine. HansJM (358), Norway

It's better than most danish pilsners in any case. It's NOT International Standard Lager! Too heavy for that, and there is a sweetness deep into the aftertaste that I really liked. A good try...but....try again. Lisbeth (14), Randers, Denmark

The %-content is just right! PU still rules this class, but: Nice try! Too expensive though )-: ToolHead (236), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Golden, smallish head.
Nicely bitter and refreshing.
A decent interpretation of a Czech pilsener. lytzenhoff (27), Fuen, Denmark

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 25, 2003 Golden pils, moderate head. Good Saaz aroma. Light bodied, but decent bitterness in the aftertaste. An ABV of 5% would be more appropriate. The Czechs do it better, but all in all this is not a bad try of Carlsberg. A beer for the summer days. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2003 Golden yellow, with a firm, but quickly disappearing head - so far it's prefect for a pilsener. Fresh, but weak hoppy nose. The hops also dominate the aroma. Cleaner and crisper taste than most Danish lagers and good bitter finish, but not that extraordinary.
