Mht. 16-12-2007. Pooof on opening. Good sign.
Brown with tan, creamy, lasting head. Aroma is dusty chocolate. Not unpleasant but clearly old.
Taste is milky chocolate. Quite sweet. Medium body, soft carbonation. A bit short. A bit simple. Still carbonation and head despite its age. Thx. for sharing this oldie, Neis. I know how much you worship it:-)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from 2003 (Best before feb. 2004). Brown body and a light brown and creamy head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and basement aromas. Most of the dry chocolate from the young days is gone. The taste is heavy sweet and has a bitter finish - not strong enough to balance the sweetness. Medium body, creamy and sticky texture.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Deep ammbery brown colour with mediumsized beige fluffy head. Leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel malts, mild roasted notes as well as grass and some liquorice and chocolate. Flavour is quite much the same in a bit more complex way than the aroma. Pleasant to drink.

courtesy of Solan. Thanks a lot for sharing this ’03 bottle.
Pours dark brown, beige head.
Aroma, malty with some grassy notes, caramel and chocolate.
Flavor definitely had an aged profile, lots of good malty yum and roast. Some lactose sweetness, caramel with chocolate, hints of spices and dark sugar.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This 2003 vintage is courtesy of TheCheeseMan, thanks again Dan! It pours mahogany with tan head. The aroma is rich milk chocolate to go along with a thin ribbon of caramel. It smells a bit like a chocolate milk shake, YUM! The flavor is ushered in with one of the creamiest mouth feels I can remember. It brings in delicious notes of milk chocolate, some dark chocolate and creamy caramel. Wow, this has aged wonderfully and is tastes great.

Black with a low grey head. Sweet chocolate aroma with further notes of cafe latte. The flavour has lots of liquorice and cocoa. It is a bit thin and weak bodied though.
