Pretty uncharacteristic for an ale, but the element of honey goes straight through. I would say that it’s heather honey. Goes very well with many types of food.

Clear amber color with fine white head. Malty, honey aroma. Flavor has a very sweet sticky honey taste.

Bottle. Pours a brown/amber colour with off-white head. Both aroma and flavor is mostly all about honey. Taste is sweet and also has come grass/citrus notes, but very dominated by honey. Decent.

Bottle at Chris_o birthday bash 08. Amber colour with thin beige head. Honey aroma. Just actually a rather nice beer. Good honey. Like a crunchie with honeycomb. It’s got better as it went on.

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden amber with an off-white head. Small lacing. Sweet honey aroma with malt and wooden notes in the background. Flavour is sweet with honey dominating. Some bitterness. Slight metallic notes and a sharp acidic touch. Dry finish with a lingering honey sweetness. The honey is nice in itself but it produces a strange off-note which is not wholly to my liking. Still, not too bad overall though. 21-06-08.

Bottle 0.66 l. Bought Kvickly Hilleroed. Aroma filled with pure honey. Beautiful red-brown colour - small beige head. Taste quite dominated by the honey. Low carbonation.

A Mes rate: Bottle at the Oi Oi Saveloy tasting at Chris O’s.
Amber with a thin off white film. Heavy corn in the aroma. Slight sweetness from the honey and clear malt. Flavour is more of the same but slightly better but there is just too much honey for me.

Nice amber apperance, with a fine white head. Aroma is nothing but honey. Very sweet taste with a lot of honey in it. Ok carbonation, very sweet finish.

JorisPPattyn (6727) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 29, 2008
Orange-chestnut coloured beer under a cream-coloured, small, but persistent head. Extremely powerful nose of dark liquid honey, to the exclusion of anything else. Leafy flavour, autumn leaves, nuts and honey in the finish only. Not too sweet, in spite of the nose. Hint of alcohol, and herbs. Very slick, pappy MF, impression of alcoholwarming, despite the low ABV, but medium bodied at best. It certainly deserves its name. Many thanks to Dirk and Leen

Miksu (4012) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - MAY 24, 2008
Bottled. Amber color with small head. Strong sweet flowery honey aroma. Dryer flavor with flowery honey, fruity tartness and hint of nutty maltiness. Mostly honey in the aroma and flavor.

Jukkabro (3471) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 18, 2008
Dark amber colored with little yellow head. Honey dominates this overly sweet aroma, mild grains also here. Medium bodied. Flavor is the same with nothing but sweet honey, aftertaste has mild cardboard. No good.
