COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from a Copnhagen supermarket. Lovely beer, like the best German and Czech pilseners, now if they could adjust their standard brew to this recipe.. Nothing big or bold here, just a very respectable beer. Full malty flavour, lots of aromatic hops.

(on bottle)Dark yellow, small white head. Fruity and plesant aromas, like grass and a distant fruitbasket. The mouthfeel is very soft and makes the beer very drinkable, along with a mild, softly malted taste. Leaves and small dryness with very little hop-features, yet, this is still a very nice beer; would love to see it on draft this summer.

A golden lager with a classic hoppy nose and a malty body with just enough hops to balance it. Fine bitter and dry end. Absolutely one of the better carlsberg beers!

Maria (10129) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 7, 2008
Warm golden with a huge, nice head. The aroma is fruity with notes of flower and malt. The flavour has a very light, smooth sweetness, notes of flower, fruit and it has a light bitterness. It ends on a slightly dry, citrussy note. It’s a very nice pilsner, it’s pleasant, harmonic and full of flavour.

A bright golden colour with lively bubbles. Crystal clear (surprisingly so). Head of large foam bubbles, very short-lived. The aroma was wheaty and floral, with a suggestion of cherry. The beer was smooth in the mouth, with some dark rye-bread flavours accompanying the overriding sweetness and caramel. Slightly metallic aftertaste, not entirely unpleasant.
