COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This slightly unclear, copper colored rye beer is brewed using three different types of rye malts as well as light pilsener malt and a little brewing syrup. The use of Winter Rye gives the beer a characteristic aroma, that is pronounced by a fresh note of citrus from the Cascade hops from Yaki-ma, USA. The full-bodied and dry flavor is due to the light pilsener malt and the regular rye malt, while the caramel rye malt adds a discreet sweetness. The chocolate rye malt makes sure, that there is a balance between the two. The aftertaste contains a flowery hoppiness. Best served at 8-10 C.

A very special taste. Wine-like. Acid and fruity. The aftertaste is very fruity and long, and is definitely the best part of it.

Copper pour with creamy off white head and lace. Rye, caramel, and plastic aroma. Nicotine, ashy flavor. Thin and watery not one of my favorites.

Bottled (BBE 2007...). Orangeish/pale nutbrown colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is ryebread with caramel malts and some slight notes of fruits and honey. Flavour is caramel malts, some bready notes as well as earth and milf fruity and floral notes as well. God knows from where I have gotten this a long time ago. Had a nice dustlayer on it already.

Beer was one year old when sampled. The aroma is malty with some oranges perhaps. Colour is copper with a thin head. Flavor is also of oranges and some other fruit and malt.

I love this beer. The appearance is golden with brownish elements. The aroma isn’s exceptional but the taste more than makes up for it. It’s multilayered and versatile - strong and yet smooth. Nice to have while eating a good diiner during winter. I have had it for x-mas and it was suiting the duck well.
