Carlsberg Sort Guld has a thick, white head and a clear, deep golden appearance, with a fair amount of carbonation streaming up and splotchy lacing left behind. The aroma is faint, but some bread smell can be picked up. Taste is also bread oriented and sweet, but a little hop bitterness is present to round it out. Mouthfeel is medium, and Carlsberg Sort Guld finishes refreshing and mostly dry. Overall, I really enjoyed this (10 oz. can) beer and recommend giving it a chance.

Carlsberg sells this in Denmark as a premium beer with a higher alcoholic strength than their standard lager. The taste is slightly sour and bitterness is more pronounced.

Hazy golden coloured, small white head, grainy nose with touch of honey. Few streams of carbonation. A bit watery.

Can. Pours pale yellow with a huge white head. Smells abit spicy and malt. Tastes abit sweet and fruit with a clear bitter finish.

Aroma is boozy, minerals, Grass, straw, hay, bread, yeast.
Golden colour, medium white head.
Flavour is boozy, malty, bready, Grass, and hay.

Pours clear golden, aroma and flavor of malts. Quite ordinary lager really, despite the higher ABV.

33 cl bottle at Arlanda. Very malty smell. Pale golden colour with huge head. Highly malty aroma with long aftertaste, ends with a faint of licorice. Quite sharp palate.

Can @ Home :pours golden with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain, light metallic note. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, grain, light grassy hops. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. Not really bad, just boring. 091011
