UPDATED: SEP 1, 2003 1 flavour: roasted malt. and lots of it. otherwise thin and watery and shitty. but if you imagine it's a rauchbier then it's almost ok. rerate: this is foul and pestilent. i should also apologise for originally adding this beer under "porter" two years ago, when I didn't know better - a few raters here are flinging shit at CUB that should be flung in my direction instead (well where else should it go? old ale? schwarzbier? we need a "bland industrial dark ale" style)

Another dismal product from CUB. Like a watered down version of a VB. No head at all. Just water with some chemicals and char.

Dark red/brown i ncolour with small white head. Oliy choclate mocca flavour. Thin body.

not a very good porter. quite watery and tastes like burnt wood. can find a lot mor porters that are actually drinkable

dont know what they were thinking with this one not a great taste unless you like pencil shavings left a half of a half pint

On tap at the Phoenix. Urgh! Phlat, plah, yeuck! Unidimensional but strong charcoal flavour, no head, all wrapped up in typical CUB cigarette butts. Possible aftertaste of bong water?
