COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Carlton Cold was launched in 1993 and enjoys a significant share of the packaged full-strength beer segment. Cold is produced with a cold-filtration process, pioneered in Australia by Carlton & United Breweries and is also the first beer in Australia to be packaged in clear glass and the only beer packaged in unbreakable PET bottles.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2003 A pretty standard beer. Drink ice cold and it tastes alright, looks better than it tastes.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2003 Not much body to this beer, but is clean and crisp. Needs to be drunk very cold as the name implies becuase it is not a very good tasting beer. Cheap but a better choice would be tooheys extra dry.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2007 Refreshing drink in the middle of summer, pity it is middle of winter! Not sure of the colour, taste of yeast( dough and cobwebs )not enough flavour for me!

Aroma is of fresh grain and, er, metal. Quite nice gold in colour with a small head of foam. The flavour is sweet and light while the finish is here today, gone...today. Not great.

Pretty lower end scale beer. Soft fizz with a high yeast taste. It's one of the beers you drink after you're drunk.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2003 Re-rate: This is worse than I remember. I had to drink 2 tonight. Oh dear, I can't believe I haven't rated this until now. Upon tasting it I remember, I forgot. That is it is an eminently forgettable beer. If only they could improve it somehow, a shot of vodka maybe?
