COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Carlton Cold was launched in 1993 and enjoys a significant share of the packaged full-strength beer segment. Cold is produced with a cold-filtration process, pioneered in Australia by Carlton & United Breweries and is also the first beer in Australia to be packaged in clear glass and the only beer packaged in unbreakable PET bottles.

Very nice on a hot day, served freshly chilled (Near frozen is best) but shite if anything under that. Only beer packaged in PET bottles (which makes it able to be served at the cricket) but there is a very good reason that it is the ONLY beer to do so.

Great summer beer, clean taste that can be enjoyed with a wedge of lemon in bottleneck. Head retention is poor but does not detract from this easy drinking light bitter.
