1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 Maria (8577) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2008
Warm golden with a moderate head. The aroma has notes of mash and metal - hmmmm. The flavour is better, even if it’s thin with light notes of malt, citrus and a light bitterness. OK, another of the "cold & wet" - and that’s about it...
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Jarmby (25) - Lilydale, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2008
perhaps the most over rated beer in Australia. It is packaged well but that is as far as its premium-ness goes.
A metallic CUB offering
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Surferdude (8) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 14, 2008 does not count
Watery, and lacks any significant flavour. Too simple, nothing there. Good appearance though.

Plain, simple and dull beer.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 HarryFlashman (469) - Chatham, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2007
Sampled on Flashy’s tour of LA, New Zealand and Hong Kong of September/October 2007 - Pretty standard Aussie lager. Nothing special, but beats Foster’s.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 golubeer (51) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 3, 2007
375 ml Bottle. Practically VB but with a classier bottle. No aroma, bad taste and even worst finish. Best thing is the bottle. Luckily i didn’t have to buy this as I got it at a friends house. Over priced and crap. How do people buy this?
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 andeejam (4) - SPAIN - SEP 4, 2007 does not count
A beer with very few redeeming features. VB in a fancy bottle to rip you off. No Aroma, weak undefinable taste and nasty finish - I have to drink it really cold to stop myself squirming
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 29, 2007
Pale golden with a thin white head. Aroma of adjunct and metallic hops. Medium-light body, simple flavours of grainy malt and metallic hops, I think Melbourne bitter has more character than this... Ive got no idea why people buy this stuff, its a swindle for the price.
1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Thylacine (517) - Tasmania, AUSTRALIA - JUL 4, 2007
375 ml bottle - Pale yellow gold with a mostly diminishing white head. Thin bodied with medium carbonation. Weak in flavour with a stale metallic finish.
