Flaske fra Gml. Strand øllager, i Kongens have juli-14: selv ikke den freske storbandmusikken fra scenen kan hjelpe denne. Ikke stol på bryggeriets selvskryt, dette er boring, boring and utterly boring.

From a 375 ml bottle in Tasmania. Pours a clear pale gold with an off white head. Aroma of corn bread. Run of the mill pale lager flavor. Crisp finish with a slight bitterness

If held at gun point, I can sip one of these with minimal complaints. At least there are some real ingredients to taste. Certainly better than most of the mass produced pale lagers of Australia but still not terribly great.

Hi ..i pour this brew ,...one finger white head in a normal beer glass but fades quickly ..with minimal lacing ..Aroma - some toast bread , earthy hay ..but minimal , taste - bread , hay , cereal toffee, palate- low to mid body.. low-mid bitterness with faint citrus and resin, ..a average Australian lager :)

Bottle, 0.375l. Clear deep golden color with medium frothy white head and fair lacing. Aroma is grainy, bready, mild caramelly and grassy. Taste starts with moderate sweet grainy malt, follows by mild fruity sourness with some vegetable notes and medium bitter finish. Light to medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Average lager with very nice bottle...

OLD NOTES OCT 9, 2003 The standard "classy" Aussie beer. Essentially just an extra classy VB, and actually the same beer in pretentious phallic packaging for pretentious wankers. Horribly metallic with that non-discernible CUB twang.

It needs to be a hot day to drink this. Pale yellow in colour, essentially no hop aroma or flavour. Metallic taste that is quite off-putting. There is not much that can be said positively about this. It’s somewhat sad that it is advertised as Australia’s finest. It gives the wrong impression to tourists

The smell give you the right idea of the beer. In this one some metallic tastes can be felt, making an unpleasant perception of the beer. The beer itself is a regular lager without something special, the malt prevails over the hops, and at the end the taste is quite simple.

Goldgelbe Farbe mit geringem Schaum. Geruch moderat malzig. Geschmack malzig, leicht wässrig.
