UPDATED: AUG 31, 2008 aroma sort of boring, but relatively strong.
looks real great, clear yellow with nice smallish white head, looks refreshing
flavor is a slight sour, and generally boring - thirst quencher, but far from the best, also a little watery (should not be at 4.9%)

aroma like cheap beer, sunburned beer.
poured clear yellow with very large and thick head for a macro. flavor was sweet and dry, sweetness subtle and good balance for the bitterness (from hops i think) flavor 6 or 7. palate 3 (nice and soft) overall 11.
Bottle claimed contents to be brewed by CROWN BEVERAGES, 77 southbank boulevard, southbank, victoria 3006 australia, no golden neck, same logo but pictured differently, label says CROWN and lager in much smaller letters underneath.

Warm golden with a moderate head. The aroma has notes of mash and metal - hmmmm. The flavour is better, even if it’s thin with light notes of malt, citrus and a light bitterness. OK, another of the "cold & wet" - and that’s about it...

Golden with a small white head. Grainy malt and a touch of spicy hops in the aroma. Sweet and thin grainy flavour.

Bottle. creamy white good mostly lasting head. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter grassy flavor. moderate bitter finish. Watery palate. Not that bad.

Bei diesem Bier gefällt zwar die Flasche, der Inhalt wird dem aber nicht gerecht. Der Minimal herbe Antrunk wird ganz und gar umhüllt von Wasser, aber nicht von Bier. Lasch ist noch geschmeichelt.

This lagah came from my Aussie colleague’s visitors. A blonde lagah with a thin white head, smelling of sulfur and herbal corn. In mouth, a crisp metallic attack with some decent hopping after. Refreshing, but not much else. Was expecting kangaroo pee, but this wasnt that bad.

Pale, shaving foam head. Utterly bizarre taste - almost buttery in some ways. Some simple malts and drying chemical bitterness. Tongue-scrapingly so.
