Bottle from bitbucket, thanks! Pale straw in the glass, small fizz, head disappears quickly. Slightly tart aroma initially reminds me of a granny smith apple, little medium sweetness lingering as a golden delicious. When first poured, there was a metallic note on the palate but that no longer remains. There’s some dry wood character, a touch of honeycrisp sweetness, a little band aid, and a gentle tannic tightness that binds everything together. My opinion of this cider changed dramatically from the first pour to the last sip. Let it warm, let it breathe. The delicacy is there.
