COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Carlton Draught is one of Australia's biggest selling tap beers. This traditional full strength lager, available nationally, is renowned for delivering "brewery fresh" taste. Carlton Draught provides a crisp mid-palate flavour which is balanced with a clean hop bitterness and a slightly dry finish.

thin, watery, next to no hop are malt flavours. Not even sessionable which is what it’s designed for. Drink it very cold, or even better, not at all. Standard Australian macro garbage.

Tap. Looks like clear beer. Tastes like stale yeast and metal. Very very ordinary

Kita (864) - Koper, SLOVENIA - FEB 25, 2014
Bottle, 0.375l. Clear golden color with medium frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of grainy malt, hay, dust and mild grassy hops. Clean and bland lager taste with grainy and vegetably notes, crisp and dry mouthfeel with light bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Bottle looks nice, beer tastes poor...

OLD NOTES OCT 9, 2003 The "other alternative" to New and VB...for the blind macro swilling masses. Find this one particularly offensive, more skunky than VB. Not sure how that’s possible being practically the same beer afterall...

Flat, watery, no body, highly yeasty with no other flavour but yeast. Don’t get any.

Pours from the bottle a medium golden with a slight amber shadow, minimal white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is neutral, slightly dusty, and a little grainy, no noticeable hop notes. Tastes very plain, no distinct malt flavors or esters. Hop presence is equally nil. There really is nothing distinguishing about this beer other than a slight metallic taste in the finish. There has got to be a better alternative In Australia where a bottle of beer will run you $4+ at the grocery store.

pretty surprised by the low scores, this is one of the best commercial beers for mass consumption in Australia. Best on tap.

Only cost me $2 so who can complain? This beer has a light yellow body - hue with a bitter initial flavor and a light body.

Clear yellow beer with a white head that dissipates quickly. No flavours that stand out. Reminds me of budweiser. Very little to say about this.
