Honestly quite tasty when straight from the brewery, tap, my mouth. Although it is very mono flavoured. It doesnt require a good togue to taste it. Its got the typical ringwood taste too common in CUB however from the tap and its price... its well worth it compared to the others around.... Birrabella lygon $4 a pint!

another very common beer on tap in australia, i rate it between vb and new. nothing complex about its tastes, just an easy to drink draught beer. gets bonus points for amusing add campaigns.

Had this with my steak when I was in Melbourne. It’s pretty alright, went down well with my steak, but it seem a little weak. At least it’s not as crap as Tiger beer (cat’s piss).

If there are only mainstream lagers on tap this would be my go to. Quite full bodied for the style with a reasonably pronunced bitterness on the tail.

Classic Aussie draught beer, not great, but nothing better than drinking one at your local on a hot aftenoon.

One of the few Carlton products that actually tastes of anything, this automatically makes it the best beer they make and the only one you should risk buying on tap. It’s a good ’session’ beer and, unlike VB, Tooheys New and other appalling rubbish, won’t give you a banging hangover the next day. If you’re from any European country east of Belgium, leave well alone: you’ll only upset yourself. But if you’re a Pomanian or American, go for your life.

Draught. Clear golden yellow with good head. Almost no aroma, just slightly malty. Light bodied with good carbonation. The flavour is very light with a little bitterness in the finish. Overall, it’s a quaffable inoffensive beer but nothing special.

a fantastic beer, that could be marketed alot better in QLD in competition with XXXX Draught. a very nice full strength beer that goes down well in an old style pub. That raw flavor of a well aged well designed quality ale.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2007 Yellow body. Appley flavor, but really just your everyday light beer. At least it didn’t have a bad aftertaste. Melbourne.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2003 A little bit too sweet for a beer and has an aftertaste of honey. A little bit sickly after a while but a full bodied beer that is nothing to write home about. Buy it if you live in Melbourne.
