1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 Marc18 (28) - NORTHERN IRELAND - MAY 11, 2013
Had by the crate in Cairns. A bog standard pale lager with nothing much going for it. If you chill it enough it goes down better than water.
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20 jonnyguns (384) - - NOV 25, 2012
Straight from the can at stereosonic. Has nothing going for it doesn't touch the sides. No flavour and just a mildy bitter piece of crap.
1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 KeefOz (470) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - OCT 30, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 31, 2013 30/10/2012. Draught at Lions @ Springwood, Brisbane. Poured a clear amber colour with a thin white bubble head that laced poorly. Moderate carbonation. Bland aroma. Taste much the same with a hint of sweetness. Light body. Aroma, taste and palate comparable with other large commercial brewery lagers.
01/02/2013. From bottle. Poured a clear light golden amber with a white, thin, bubbly head that diminished quickly to leave a patchy cover over the beer. Laced while the head remained. Moderate carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste is sweet and bland. Light body (watery). Very much like a number of other CUB beers.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Bif (1021) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 20, 2012
On Tap- Served a light yellow color with a small head that fades quickly to no lacing. Faint aroma of malt sweetness and nothing else. No real flavor, just a bit of sweetness, no real bitterness, but yes it is very dry.
Light body, weak with no backbone. Real waste of time and effort on this beer.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 davidm (1772) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 3, 2011
Bottle 330ml. As expected, like making love in a canoe. Light aroma of straw. Taste is sweet and short-lived. Palate is thin and watery. Yellow, with a thin head.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Westmeister (926) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Pours a typical pale lager straw yellow, but with no a very thin head than fizzes quickly away. Smell is mild but astingent and metallic. Not good. Taste is astringent metallic with some mild apple like tones. Not good.

Definitely dry. What else is going for it ? Nothing. Just dry and shithouse
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Stew41 (1572) - Woodend, AUSTRALIA - MAR 27, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 1, 2012 Yep it’s dry but doesn’t have much else going for it. Some mildy sweet and sticky adjunct flavour runs through the palate but otherwise devoid of any malt character of hop bitterness. Needs a chill to make it bearable. Ok if you like your beer dry and without challenge.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 GT2 (5657) - Riverslime, California, USA - NOV 23, 2010
330mL as part of our Aussie blind tasting part 3. Pour was clear, fizzy yellow with a small, white head leaving some small lace. Aroma is 100% green apples and acetaldehyde. Taste is mostly water, soap, detergent, slight diacetyl. Just so bad and not even the worst beer from the tasting!
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 ComradeK (731) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - SEP 4, 2010
375ml bottle. Not mine, I was tasting a friend’s, as is often the case with dreadful macro lagers. It wasn’t actually poured, but was in a clear bottle, so I can testify to its pale, clear off-yellow colour. I couldn’t detect much aroma at all, maybe a bit of dough and bread, but nothing particularly strong. There is not much of a hop presence in the opening, and nothing but a strong basmati rice flavour in the finish, a bit like a Bud; I suspect there is a fair bit of adjunct rice in this one. It is also far too over-carbonated. It hurts me to say this, but I prefer Dry when it’s had lime and salt added, mainly because this prevents actually being able to taste the beer.
