1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 madquacker (867) - Canberra ACT, - MAY 22, 2008
How is this different to the premium dry? Or is it the same beer just misdescribed on ratebeer? Anyway, smells of wet dog and cardboard. Taste is flat and dull. Awful

Bottle 330ml. As expected, like making love in a canoe. Light aroma of straw. Taste is sweet and short-lived. Palate is thin and watery. Yellow, with a thin head.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Westmeister (589) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Pours a typical pale lager straw yellow, but with no a very thin head than fizzes quickly away. Smell is mild but astingent and metallic. Not good. Taste is astringent metallic with some mild apple like tones. Not good.

Definitely dry. What else is going for it ? Nothing. Just dry and shithouse
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Stew41 (1457) - Woodend, AUSTRALIA - MAR 27, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 1, 2012 Yep it’s dry but doesn’t have much else going for it. Some mildy sweet and sticky adjunct flavour runs through the palate but otherwise devoid of any malt character of hop bitterness. Needs a chill to make it bearable. Ok if you like your beer dry and without challenge.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 GT2 (3960) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 23, 2010
330mL as part of our Aussie blind tasting part 3. Pour was clear, fizzy yellow with a small, white head leaving some small lace. Aroma is 100% green apples and acetaldehyde. Taste is mostly water, soap, detergent, slight diacetyl. Just so bad and not even the worst beer from the tasting!
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 ComradeK (526) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - SEP 4, 2010
375ml bottle. Not mine, I was tasting a friend’s, as is often the case with dreadful macro lagers. It wasn’t actually poured, but was in a clear bottle, so I can testify to its pale, clear off-yellow colour. I couldn’t detect much aroma at all, maybe a bit of dough and bread, but nothing particularly strong. There is not much of a hop presence in the opening, and nothing but a strong basmati rice flavour in the finish, a bit like a Bud; I suspect there is a fair bit of adjunct rice in this one. It is also far too over-carbonated. It hurts me to say this, but I prefer Dry when it’s had lime and salt added, mainly because this prevents actually being able to taste the beer.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Lunkie (1129) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - AUG 30, 2010
Barnyeard aroma with diry and hops. Clear amber colour with good head and lacing. Hop malt flavour with earthy undertones. Fizzy palate. If you love beer please do not drink this!

much like carlton cold, crisp and clean, but little to no flavour to speak of.
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Blockley (90) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 28, 2009
Bottle @ Home
A beer for the masses. Although I had it from the bottle it had an ugly off amber sort of colour. There is nothing in the aroma or flavour that makes this beer stand out, it is your typical macro pale lager fanfare. Easy drinking, but not enjoyable. Better luck next time, Carlton.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Davros (1021) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 27, 2009
Tiny generic lager head, with slight lacing. Crystal clear bronze pour.
Aroma is metallic, astringent, slight lemon. Pretty damn bad. Essence of piss.
Tastes is of carboard malt, soap and cooked cabbage. No bitterness whatsoever.
Very watery, with lively carbonation.
Overall, pretty horrible. Never buying this again.
