Looks ok but that’s about it. Pretty shitty excuse for a beer and it pisses me off that this is all I can get at the footy

Unusually for a lightish beer it actually tastes like something. Has some malt & bitter flavour, it's just not a good taste. Very bad chemical taste actually and horrid aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Nice amber colour with a good strong snow white head. Clear and well carbonated with a strong hop aroma. Lacks anything to distinguish it from all the other bland pale lagers out there. Thin bodies with a metallic taste. Another mass prodcued abomination.

Pale yellow. Skunky aroma of corn and weak flavour of malt and lemon. Watery finish. Label says it’s double hopped...haha.

Light amber gold under a medium size shortish lasting head and somewhat unatural looking cobweby lacing. Light soda water and hint of hop aroma. Light bland watery body with very faint hop bitter flavoured start. Possibly the most boring beerI have rated so far.

on tap. golden, faint and foamy head, sweet and sweaty aroma, no real flavour apart from a touch of industrial bitterness. no surprises

a not too offensive mid-strength lager, almost sour malt and hints of hop odour and character, next..

UPDATED: APR 23, 2004 pours a light ugly lager with little head, dispite my efforts to encorage it during pouring. Cane sugar is noticable in the aroma, along with some unpleasant hoppiness. Some residual sugar is present with a sugar cane sweetness. slight grassy hop bitterness along with a nasty chemical taste are in the finish. "not a bad bitter" a bitter is an ale mate, it also should have a thing called FLAVOUR. VB + water = this

Yeesh. Carlton you have fucked it up again. All your ad campaigns still won’t convince me to "stay a little longer" Serve this swill up to lose your mates. That is a given. Harsh beer, light carbonation and just too chemically enhanced to be considered.
