1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Choos (507) - Taylors Hill, - MAY 31, 2005
Aroma: none, not a bloody thing only gets 2 points as it doesn’t have the standard bitter POR stink. Appearance: really pale gold yellow but the head was poor. Flavour: now this is the best bit, it actually tastes better than any CUB product I have had before as it is like water. Palate: yep lingering formaldahyde and a hint of pride of ringwood.
1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 KeefOz (35) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - MAY 15, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 24, 2012 Amber coloured. Light bodied. Finish thin. Overall a bland ’watery’ beer that is somewhat tasteless.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Rangi (112) - NEW ZEALAND - APR 22, 2012
A watery lager, slightly bitter but no real aroma or taste what so ever. Nice enough to drink on a hot day but nothing really happening.
1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 jimthechap (795) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 23, 2012
Pale lager colour with very little white head that sank into virtually nothing. I couldn’t for the life of me elicit any aroma even with my big nose. I suppose the one positive of the flavour is that it has plenty of carbonation, but I may as well have just been drinking water. It’s hard to attempt to seriously rate a beer that appears to have made no effort to taste of anything. I tried, I seriously tried.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 tkrjukoff (2673) - SWEDEN - DEC 5, 2011
Bottle 33 cl @ hotel in Melbourne. Pours clear pale golden with a huge creamy white head leaving some lace. Aroma is very weak malty, hoppy and hay. Flavor as weak, a bit acidy. Finishes shortlived watery and malty.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Bif (622) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 18, 2011
On Tap- Served a pale golden color with a nice full head and good lacing.
Bland aroma of mild grain and hint of sweetness. Again, bland flavor of mild grain and bit of malt sweetness. Very light body, quite watery. Just an Aussie version of a light beer.

I am a late onset Type 1 diabetic. i have restored my overall health by adopting a low-carb diet. Basically, carbohydrates = glucose = poison. I have been able to enjoy beer again because of the huge number of low carb beers now available. i have a limited carb budget (30g per day) and a beer that only has 3g of carbs fits right in. i find pure blonde to be uber-refreshing and hoppy. perhaps that is because i don’t have the luxury of drinking the super sugary beers.

Gold coloured body with almost no head (a touch of white on top) with some bubbles - but a pretty ugly and lifeless beer. Aroma of pale malt, rice, filler and cardboard - not pleasant. Light-bodied; Gross cardboard and metallic flavour with some light malt notes and not much else to speak of. Aftertaste shows metal, malt, a touch of hops and rice - not good. Overall, a pretty bland, weak and understated beer - not really worth trying when there are others down under! I sampled this schooner on draught at Riverland on the Yarra in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 02-January-2010.

Pure, clear yellow they mean. Weak beer, and weak head. Why does the world copy shitty American pale lager beers? Smells like Elmer’s glue half-dried between 2 pieces of notebook paper. Tastes much the same but with a large supply of water added in. You could say it’s bitter, you could say it sucks. You decide.

One for the ticks. Strangely, perhaps, a beer I perceive to be better than the rest of the stable given the absence of those horrible stale malts. That is, no flavour here at all but the structure is dry and quite refreshing. Like Asahi actually.
