3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Indra (2361) - Overland Park, Kansas, USA - JUL 1, 2001
Interesting beer. Not as estery or powerful as Old Australia Stout, and not as high in alcohol content. A nice choice of ingredients is in it, though, and it comes in a nice big 25.6 oz. bottle. Try this sometime when you’re sick of all the other stouts that are available. I’ve purchased it more than once.

This is not a very good stout. Incredibly flat with little to no head. I head this in succession with 2 other stouts and it sorely disappointed.

Who would have guessed than an Australian stout would be this good? It’s on the sweet side, chocolatey, and very good. Almost reminds me of Sammy Smith Oatie. The 25.6oz bottle is also unique.

Sheeeaaaaffff! Oatmeal Stout like flavor with a slightly alcholic taste. I’m not normally one to talk about price but this is a deal. $3 for 25 oz. I’m going down under
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jake Barnes (456) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 13, 2001
I had this again last night for the first time in a while and was not impressed. Almost a sweet/cloying aftertast that just wasn’t pleasant. Too flat for a stout.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 20, 2001
UPDATED: AUG 2, 2005 Near black colour. Chewy, slight roasty, slight raisiny malts with a hint of alcoholic undertones in the aroma. Tar-like, toffeeish, thick body. Chewy but bland, and probably too sweet.
