This is a terrible stout. The worst i have ever had. Barely black, next to no aroma. Sour, slightly tinny, sweet malty flavors. Way too carbonated, very dry, chemical taste. Awful.

I had to drink this stuff to complete the ’Hall fo Foam’ at a local bar. That was my second experience with it. Somehow for all the world it’s like you are drinking an entire loaf of pumpernickel bread. Had it in a 22 oz. bottle both times. This stuff makes Guiness taste sweet. Very disappointing, worst stout I have ever had. Although the bottle and label do give it old school feel.

Has an oily texture kind of like motor oil. Strange tasting stout. A little fruity tasting.

Head is initially small, frothy, good lacing, light brown, fully diminishing. Body is dark brown, nearly black. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, mild coffee), with a very light tar note. Flavor is lightly bitter, lightly sweet. Finish is heavily bitter. Medium body, dry and oily texture, lively carbonation, heavily astringent. Weak aromatics and astringency hurt this one.

Well, it’s definatly not a dessert beer. Strong, ripe stout. not a Bell’s but very straight forward. Nothing to dislike but the thin head.

we cannot get this stout here in Victoria, Aus. Come on C U B get your act together. I did not mind this stout at all, even though it has every thing along with the kitchen sink thrown in to it.

Put frothy milk on this and you’d have a cappucino. Only my Uncle Greg drinks this, and he’s and old barstard who’ll drink anything thats free

When I was 18 we always used to have a competition to see who could get through a whole bottle of this. One of the most aggressively offensive stouts around. Salty, harsh, thick, definitely not elegant in any way.
