COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Carlton Sterling is a double hopped 2.5% lager and as its name suggests, is a true marque of brewing excellence made from world-class ingredients. The finest of pale malts and roasted barley are used to create malt flavour and colour. Noble Saaz hops and Australian Pride of Ringwood hops provide a subtle yet distinctive hop aroma and flavour. CUBs unique double hopped brewing process, normally reserved for premium beers, maximises flavour to create a light beer of distinction. Its this unique character that brings an extra layer of flavour to this excellent quality low alcohol beer.

I appreciate my relatives buying these CUB beers therefore stopping me wasting my own money. Read almost any other rating on a CUB beer and this is the same only with less alcohol. Boring, watery and tastless.

Very inoffensive. A little sweet, a little bit of hops, a whole lot of water, a smell like the local swimming pool, all the indications of a CUB mass produced beer. cheers

Pretty standard light beer, no great taste or style. Just bland mass produced boredom without the alcohol to get you drunk.

Golden colour, no head, sweet cany flavour. Is double hopped but littl evidence of this. Typical of CUB mass produced beer.

MGC under a medium size short lasting white head. Stale cornflakes and cold used bathwater aroma. Very thin soda watery body. Mild stale weak bitter mineral water and corny adjuncts flavours. Indescribably lacking in any sort of character or taste. Just awful.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2003 This beer is not as bad as others would you have you beleive. A consistent flavour, which tastes exactly the same on tap as it does from a stubby.
