Narnad (1458) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - FEB 14, 2009
5.1% alcohol this batch. Cloudy yellow color with a 1/4 inch dense white head. Aroma is wheat and honey with a slight sour scent. Flavor has lots of wheat upfront in the tasting with a light orange flavored citrus middle with hints of noble hops and a slight sourness at the end. Beer has a moderate density and is a very drinkable overall wheat beer.

On tap at the brewpub on 6/20/07: Pours a transparent dull golden with a thin froth of well-lacing white head. Lightly sweet wheaty aroma has some grainy notes. Body starts faintly sweet and wheaty with some full carbonation and mild hoppy bitter balance. Finishes drier and grainy, but otherwise pretty standard for the style.

tap at the brewpub-Even though this beer only gets a 3.1, i have to say that it was definately a very nice American wheat. It really shines out from much of the pack in the style. lightly golden yellow cloudy with a fluffy white head. light nose, mostly citrus and grains. citric flavors start-lemon and orange with some light grains on the flavors as well. some banana esters actually come out as the beer warmed mostly on the flavor. great yeast note with nice clean fermentation. soft carbonation and a balanced body definately add to the pleasure of this brew. good stuff back in my hometown!

Cornfield (5473) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 16, 2006
This poured a very lightly hazed, pale yellow body with a sustained white head that left intricate lacing in its wake. The aroma is toasted wheat flakes with a drop or two of honey. Same with the flavor - lightly sweetened Wheaties. Probably better in warm weather.

muzzlehatch (4424) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - DEC 3, 2006
Draught sample at the brewpub in early October 2006. A moderate lasting white creamy head tops the lightly hazy yellow-gold body and leaves traces of lace....grainy-grassy nose, mostly fresh and dry but some darker, doughy-bready malts are apparent with more nosings....refreshing, dry mouthfeel, bready malts and faint tartness, a hint of sour apple-cherry which turns sweeter towards the finish....clean and very smooth though not at all boring at the end, strong engaging carbonation, really quaffable and just what a summer quencher should be.

JMerritt (1793) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - NOV 27, 2004
Cloudy yellow with a big, fluffy white head. Light yeast aroma with just a hint of banana. Lightly grainy and a tad sour. Rather light in both flavor and on the palate. Nearly seemed watered down.
