3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy orange/amber with a soapy white head, slight hop touch with some fruit, the bittering hops come through on the front end, slight metallic finish, not terrible.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours watery darker copper colored. Practically no head. Light bubbling. Aroma of leather, a little doughy yeast, and slate. The aroma is just very earthen and mineral. The flavor is watery, runny, doughy, malty and did I say watery? Mouthfeel is runny, watery, malty, and harsh. Goes down harsh. A watery, unforgiving, weak "pale" ale. Lacing is practically non-existent. I don’t even want to try the lager.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the brewpub. Near-opaque unfiltered gold-amber with chunky lacing and a touch of color to the marvellously creamy head...orange-grapefruit nose a bit subdued, touched by banana?...sweet, very smooth, with mild bitterness showing up late, lots of caramel malt, low acidity...bit too soft to finish for an APA I thought.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery, flat mostly grains in and out a little bit of hops, overall unintersting but drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Transparent, light orange in color, bubbly body and a chunky off white head. Aroma contributes pine, resin, big time hops, sweet nectar, lavender and lilacs. Bitter-sweet hops entrance and a lasting bitterness. Very light in body and lacking the malt support that I’d deem necessary, but it’s an APA, and its standards aren’t as high. Very grassy with some cedar and pine nodes. Slick and diffusing on the palate, but the hops sure as hell know how to linger. Overall? Enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice hazy copper color with a massive bright-white head. Lacing and head retention were fabulous. Aroma was a muted Cascade hop grapefruitiness. Very solid bitterness to this, with a light caramel malt backbone that really pops in the middle. Bitter finish. Nice full mouthfeel. The bartender said that this is different from their "Carlyle A.P.A."
