COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A roasty porter with 2.5 lbs. of orange peel added to both the boil and the fermenter. Adds a citrusy effervescence, balances well with roast flavors.

Minnesota Winterfest 2012. Black color with a large head. Orangish aroma, faintly like Listerine. Very light orange flavor. Slight roasted barley notes.

Pour on tap at Winterfest 2012, dark brownish pour with thin slightly off white head, aroma has roasted malt, some grainy notes with hints of chocolate, the fruity orange definitely comes through though it is a touch artificial. Taste is better however, nice balanced orange with hints of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate bitterness in there, roasted, dry, and slightly sweet finish. Very interesting for sure!
