2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BVery (2544) - Burnsville, USA - NOV 17, 2011
Tap at Carmody’s on Nov. 17, 2011. Clear golden pour with a small white head. Kind of an odd aroma and taste - band-aid like. Also a fairly bold hop profile and some biscuit. Just okay.

Sampled at ABR this fall. Pours a hazy orange. Very very hoppy aroma. Quite nice! Taste has a little bit of malt in it, but mostly hops and stringent bitterness.

Sample at Winterfest. From notes. More of a PA than an IPA...Pours a hazy straw, aroma and flavor are a bit off, lots of straw and hay, with some oxidized hops. Just a touch of hops in there really, and it more just for the bitterness, without any flavor additions. Eh.

On tap at Winterfest ’11. Hazy yellow pour with white head. Aroma was weak, with notes of grass and lemon peel, some biscuit. Tate was off, with some slight bitter lemon notes, some grass and hay, finishing slightly bitter but with some weird off tastes.

The fourth beer I sampled at Winterfest 2011 in St. Paul on 2-4-11. Approximately 2 oz. pour. Pours hazy orange with a small amount of beige head. Sweet, soft, gentle hops aroma features an orange scent. “Beery” (i.e., macro pale lager) taste. Dull, dirty flavor of English hops. Lemon and tangerine in the finish. Dirt-bitter aftertaste. Light to medium body.
