Bottle conditioned. Amber-hued with a thin white head. Strong, inviting aroma of hops & roast malt which follows through to a good balance of sweet malty/ spicy hop flavours. Umm, this is good stuff. English bottle-conditioned ales; I’ve had some right mingers lately but this restores my faith!

Not perfectly clear red body. Not cabonated much.

Hazy amber-mossy beer with a small ring for a head. Very hoppy nose, nearly USA, and a bit of kiwi fruit. Dry, dry, dry. Cardboard flavours, but with dry hops, orange zeste, hop bales. Light to medium bodied quite slick. A surprisingly good Southern English interpretation of an American pale ale.

Bottled (Carn Brea). Sweet orange-apple and toffee aroma - slight hint of hops. Reddish brown color with moderate head. Toffee malt and light astringent hops flavor. Moderate carbonation and acidity. Tasty.

LCRBM2. Amber colour with thin beige head. Caramel and hop aroma. Hops are pretty good on end. Tingly. Not bad. Good malt/hop balance throughout with a very good hoppy finish.

Bottle. Brownish appearance and poured with a medium head which soon dissipated. Soft carbonation and no acidity.lingering maltiness with some bitterness.

[2nd Low Countries RateBeer Meeting] Aroma of hops, some malts. Hazy, brown-red coloured with a thin, off-white head. taste is sweet, bitter, hoppy, some caramel malt, some wood. Dry, medium bodied beer, quite good.

Very nice, well-balanced, well-hopped ale. Some lemonade in the nose, some passionfruit in the mouth, some grapefruit in the lingering finish. A very good bottle-conditioned bitter.
