Appearance: Deep brownish color with a tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Roasted malt and coffee.
Palate: Medium light body. Slightly sweet and moderate bitter. Dry texture.
Taste: Slightly sweet with dominant coffee and roasted malt.
Overall impression: A bit light otherwise ok. After an advice from Knut Albert, I use it for marinating beef.
Personal stats: Bottle from MaxiMat at Svinesund, Sweden.

@ Röhällavägen. Bottle (500 ml) from ICA-Kvantum, Färjestaden (15:-). Roasted malt and chocolate with some coffee notes, some bitterness. The finish is dry and bitter with a lot of chocolate notes. The body is light and watery, but the beer as a whole is quite ok actually.

Flaska från Hemköp. Färg o utseende som den riktiga. Smaken förstås betydligt tunnare o vattnigare, men det är ju en föl. Porter, porter ändå. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2014 An honest porter from Gothenburg with a mellow flavor. Among the best beers with this alcohol percentage that can be found in grocery stores. It has a decent body and character with a pleasant taste of coffee beans and walnuts in it. Moreover a bit rusty taste beyond that.

Kolor ciemnobrązowy, w sumie pasujący do portera. Piana szybko opada. W zapachu słodkie, jak słodka kawa. Lekka goryczka w smaku, lekki nuty słodowe. Smak nieskomplikowany, jednowyniarowy.

Flaska från ICA. Mörkbrun vätska med medelstort smutsvitt skum. Doftar rostad malt och choklad. Smakinslag av mörk choklad, nöt och sötlakrits. Tunn kropp. Urvattnad. Vilken oerhörd skillnad det är jämfört mot den "riktiga" portern från Carnegie.

Backlog. Tried it bottled a couple of times. Not as good as it’s stronger brother but still a very decent grocery-shop porter.

Dark dark brown clear body, some dark ruby tones. Beige lasting head, spangled lacings. Aroma sweet malts, kvass, low scents. Slightly roasted sweet malts to the tongue, some watery chocolate and coffee. A bit dry on palate. Finishes with some chocolate malts and coffee hints. A diluted porter. 1/2L brown bottle from supermarket Sweden.

Pours a clear, very dark brown body with a pretty small, frothy, bubbly, light-brown, very short-lived head. Moderate aroma of pale malts, wet paper and roasted notes with chocolate and coffee. Faint flavours, this is like a boring pale lager with added malt extract and sugar! Moderate sweet taste with a light bitter short finish. Watery texture, medium body, moderate carbonation. Boring, boring and boring.
[50 cl bottle, from ICA Nära Heden, Gøteborg]

Pretty good low-alcohol beer--the right notes of toasted nuts and a bit of caramel are all there. Nice to have something with taste, at least, though the palate could be smoother and more rounded, esp at this abv

Pours black with a low mocha head. Aroma is roasted malts, honey, brown sugar, rye bread. Taste is roasted malts, some honey and rye bread with slight notes of brown sugar. Mouthfeel is quite watery, aftertaste is some chocolate with dry roated notes. Uneventful.
