50cl bottle in Stockholm. Thin pour, big head. Feet and yeast in the smell - pretty off putting (though I’ve increased the aroma rating to make the overall score fair). Taste is…bubblegum. Pretty strange. Not as bad as I was expecting from the smell, but not great either.

Roberdus (3) - Enschede, NETHERLANDS - MAY 8, 2013 does not count
UPDATED: MAY 10, 2013 A dark coloured beer with aromas of bread/touch of rye and caramel. Easily drinkable; hard to dislike and hard to love. Probably a typical 3, 5% alcohol effect. Almost no recognisable hop flavours and aroma?s but contains enough bitterness to balance its sweetness.

Drought. Dark brown slightly hazy appearance, spongy amber-beige head, cocoa aroma, smooth cocoa-coffee taste, long finish. A very smooth porter.

En bra porter med tanke på alkoholhalt. Smak och doft av humle, malt, kaffe och toner av choklad och karamell. Fruktig, tunn kropp, med en enkel beska.

500 ml bottle. Pours deep amber-brown, latte colored head. Aroma is of bread, dark malts and hints of coffee and cocoa. Taste with more coffee than the aroma, a bit tangy with nice creamy texture. The finish is dry and malty.

Appearance: Deep brownish color with a tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Roasted malt and coffee.
Palate: Medium light body. Slightly sweet and moderate bitter. Dry texture.
Taste: Slightly sweet with dominant coffee and roasted malt.
Overall impression: A bit light otherwise ok. After an advice from Knut Albert, I use it for marinating beef.
Personal stats: Bottle from MaxiMat at Svinesund, Sweden.

Bottle from ICA. Dark brown/black with an off-white head. Weak sweet roasted chocolaty aroma, not as strong as the 5% version. Quite thin body, smooth texture.

Good beer to be Swedish beer. Good smell, good taste and just the right flavor. The aftertaste is just a little off. But I still think this was a good beer to be 3.5%. A good weak Porter simply.
