Wischylini (256) - Grimstad, - NOV 15, 2013
Pours a clear, yellowish brown, but looks deceivingly dark, almost black, in the glass. Fairly frothy offwhite head that disappears quickly with minimal lacing. The aroma is reminiscent of pale lagers, and is dominated by a stale metallica note. Typical aromas found in a porter, like liqourice or cocoa are not noticeable at all. The taste is generally weak, and the palate is thin and averagely fizzy. This stuff tastes like a pale lager.

Mörkt brun öl med ljusbrunt skum. Rostad malt och choklad i doften. I smaken tillkommer mörkt bröd . Något tunn i kroppen.

czlowiekwiadro (674) - POLAND - SEP 4, 2016
zapach bardzo delikatny, lekkie palone słody, odrobina toffi i karmelu. kolor ciemny, klarowny, pod światło ciemnoczerwony, jak sok czereśniowy. piana jasnobeżowa, drobna i średnia, średnio obfita, niespecjalnie długo się trzyma. w smaku wodniste, bardzo lekko słodowe, nuty karmelowe i palone dominują. goryczki poza paloną praktycznie brak. nasycenie średnie.

Bottle. Drunk from it. Chocolate, dark bready nose, bit roapy huskey maltyness. Light. Bit weak. Nice flavours though, even tho the intensity is missing. Surprisingly good for a 3.5, big brewer, porter acutually.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2016 500 ml bottle from Konsum. Dark brown with a medium off-white head. Light aroma of caramel, roasted malt, metallic notes and coffee. Taste reflecta the aroma. Medium body, lightly slick texture. Low+ bitterness. And medium carbonation. "In fact, quite good for 3,5%"

Bottle, 500 ml, courtesy of Luka, shared with JFK10000. Pours dark brown with small brown head. Roasted malts, some coffee and chocolate notes. Nothing too complex, light and watered down. Actually not that bad.

Some caramel, malt, metal. Watery, thin body. But what can you expect from dilluted porter?

A beer with a dark brown colour; inviting, but not all that exotic aroma; a sort of roasted bitter, almost sour taste; and a smooth but oily touch on your tongue. It’s an alright beer, but it probably wont make you skip around in joy.
