4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Tap. Opaque black coffee, fine light tan head. Chocolate nose. Full but not heavy on the mouth, lots of chocolate fading to a suggestion of prunes and cocoa and other flashes of flavors I can’t quite define, finishing with more dry chocolate and just a touch of bitterness. Fantastic porter!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours clear very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel with notes of fruit. Bitter, roasty onset, replaced by sweetish notes of caramel malt and coffee. Sweetish, malty aftertaste, disturbed byba metallic note. OK but not the very best Baltic Porter I have had.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is brown sugar, grape, coffee and a little pipe tobacco (all in all, better than it sounds). Flavor is sweet with chocolate and dark fruit. Some roast coffee bitterness in the finish. A lot of flavor but not overpowering--this is really good stuff.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Ar: Sweet brown sugar, plum, treacle, and sherry.
Ap: Deep brown, clear - medium very light tan head with fair retention, leaving a thin trail of lacing.
T: Lots of caramel and brown sugar up front - robust malt sweetness, with pineapple and candy apple - bitterness is medium-low, with a mossy and herbal character - some mild sherry notes - cocoa, nougat, and dark caramel on the finish.
P: Full body with medium-high carbonation - finish is medium-dry.
O: This is a delicious baltic porter - reminds me of a sweeter, but less roasty, version of Koff - it has a ton of flavor, body, and complexity for its relatively low 5.5% abv - great!

Bottle, 330 ml, into a snifter at home. ABV 5.5%
Pitch black colour on the body, thin beige head sitting on top, with good retention for its size and light lacing left on the glass.
Aroma of sweet milky chocolate and light coffee coming from the back.
Fantastic taste with much more coffee now, roasted malts, quite bitter, with medium to long duration.
Medium thick body, good carbonation.
Really nice porter.
