COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews. Carnegie Porter was brewed for the first time in 1836 and tastes the same today as it did then. Carnegie Porter has a creamy head with a scent of coffee. Its sweet and wellrounded flavor is balanced by the bitterness of the hops. Storage helps the flavor mature and enhances its harmony.

Countbeer (4647) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 30, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized vanilla beige colored foamy head on top of a deep dark brown to black colored beer with the tiniest ruby shine coming through. Aromas of raisin, malt toast, light soap, light hints of roast and something like coal, light fishy, light sweet, hint of nutty toast and a hint of smoke/tar/asphalt... Very balanced easy aroma. Flavours of roast, bitters, malt toast, some coffee, some dried leaves, raisin, light nutty, some caramel, light chocolate... Nice. Aftertaste is light roasty, bitter, malt toast, some coffee, some raisin and light warmth. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied an a creamy texture.

From 12oz bottle to shaker. Pour is a deep amber that’s nearly black with a thick tan head, lots of lacing. Nose is coffee, roasted malt. Taste is very sweet, medium bodied, some hop bitterness balancing this out. Finishes so silky with a great after taste. Awesome porter
