COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews. Carnegie Porter was brewed for the first time in 1836 and tastes the same today as it did then. Carnegie Porter has a creamy head with a scent of coffee. Its sweet and wellrounded flavor is balanced by the bitterness of the hops. Storage helps the flavor mature and enhances its harmony.

Flavour is medium sweet, brown malts, roasted malts, coffee with milk & sugar, dark fruits, sweet light sugary finish with some coffee bitterness. Light-bodied. Decent, but not nearly as good as expected.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Mörk, svart vätska med högt beigebrunt skum. Tydliga inslag av rostade toner, kaffe och lite tobak. Beskedlig i smak. Bra matlagningsöl.

Draft @ Brasserie V. Pretty black, a little glint of brown against the light. Mocha head. Tough to get a good nose due to the dryness, but definitely some coffee, dark chocolate, herbal hops, vinous hints. Full, rich mouthfeel, creamed coffee, a hint of wood and licorice. Bittersweet, dry finish.

Cask version. Very smooth, balanced, and drinkable. Had it in bottle a couple times, and it was more flavorful. Beer Buddy App, PokegamaCreek

Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Pitch black ruby red pour. Clutching foamy off-white head. Unexpectedly dry Porter. Slight smoke. Slight funk. Aged red wine. Not a traditional Porter to me, but pretty nice.

Solid black with a thick, sticky, frothy, tan lasting head. Smells a bit stale it with roast, light fruit, liquorish and yeast. Thin light body. Tastes of sugar, chocolate, malt, caramel, and a bit of coffee bitterness. Light and easy to drink.
