From 0,5l bottle. BBD: 25.7.2014. Pours cloudy dark brown to black liquid, medium frothy tan head. Aroma: roasted, esspresso, dark chcolate, matly. Taste: light sweet, medium bitter, light sour, esspresso, roasted, Palate: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, long dry bitter finish. Overall: quite good, dry roasted taste, appropraite to the style, still light sour (like the ESB) even though stored in good conditions and consumed before BBD.

Pours dark with little head. A strong malt aroma, caramel and chocholate notes. Taste is quite fresh, not a lot of body, more fresh than you would think of a stout. Medium sour, light on the bitter side and not quite sweet. A good beer.

0.5 l bottle from Pivoljub, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Dark brown with reddish tint, almost no head. Doesn’t look like a stout. Green apple, this is a bad series. Acidic, non carbonated. Malty, some nuts in background. I can’t rate this.

A really light stout. Not much carbonation. Malty and nutty taste. Rather light bodied, thin, oily. Finish is pretty quick. Reminds me more of a German dunkel than a stout, but really not that bad. Thanks for sharing kapusil!

Stout, dark, thin head, smoked body. Very dry beer with not so strong aftertaste. The bitterness is nice.

Dark brown colour with no head. Aroma of caramel, dark chocolate and roasted malts. Flavour is with first draughts interesting but than it become watery with low bitterness and without some characteristic notes.

Pitch black, small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Big chocolate kick, followed with cocoa, vanilla and roasted malts. Thin body, average carbonation. Long cocoa bitter finish. Thin, but extremely tasty.

On tap at Brežice Beer Fest. Deep black coloured, medium sized beige head, caramel and whiff of tobacco in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, milk chocolate and slight buttery. Some dark chocolate and hops in the finish. Very good stout...but unfortunately few days later had this one from the bottle bought on the same Fest which was (far) worse.

Brežice Beer Fest. Poured a black body with a thick, lasting head. The aroma is initially a letdown, distinctly buttery, with some dark malts playing underneath. The taste, however, quickly erases all worries... Solid, caramelly malty backbone vs. roast... strangely enough seems more coffee than cocoa-like. A pleasant surprise and the best beer of their range I guess.
