3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Inviting, clear-copper color with a healthy head. But I was disturbed when I inhaled, just before taking a sip; it smelled somewhat musty, kind of like dirty feet. The mouthfeel was smooth and the flavors started off interesting, but it quickly changed to a strange, licorice flavor. What was that?! Aftertaste was a little shallow and painfully simple. Not terrible, but not impressive.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy bronze color with a bubbly head that quickly dissipates. Great acidic Cascade aroma and flavor without quite enough maltiness to balance. Malt character slightly above average. Solid mouthfeel with complex interaction between malts, hop notes and bitterness. Better than average, but not exceptional.

4.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is a rarity in America...a true India Pale Ale! The dry, hoppy flavor burst in your mouth from the first sip.
