3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 raymow (745) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 30, 2006
Easy drinking, but not exactly a top quality beer. It does have a nice, slight aroma and flavor of a strawberry blonde. A good one to drink for a night out at the bar with the guys - but nothing too special.
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 asteele8 (270) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - AUG 9, 2006
On tap. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Aroma is mostly a standard beer smell. Nothing exciting about the aroma at all. I can faintly smell some hint of hops. Flavor is a bit grassy, some hops in the flavor with a little bit of a sweet taste in there too. An average beer at best but something to try.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 shigadeyo (2394) - Harrison, Ohio, USA - JUL 27, 2006
I had this in a bottle at Chili’s in the Charlotte, NC airport. It was the only non-macro and local beer they had, so I thought I’d give it a try. The aroma was okay and I didn’t get to pour it so I have no comments on the appearance. Unfortunately I don’t have too much to else say about this beer. I was hoping for something different and satisfying, but it wasn’t that great and don’t really recommend it. The flavor seemed flat or off. Maybe I just has a bum bottle.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 bubbleflubber (1206) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - JUL 24, 2006
This was a bit disappointing for me. It pours a nice deep golden into the glass, with no head nor lacing. The nose almost doesn’t exist, possibly some wheat whiffs now and again.... The bottle says a "pils" style... this is not very indicative of it. The body is quite thin, and the mouthfeel is watery. The flavors start with a tiny bit of wheat, maybe a hint of strawberry. The mid-palate almost doesn’t exist (lack of body), then a mediocre hop contingency tries for the back-palate at the end of the pull. The finish is a light boring bitter (sort of), and overall, I was really hoping for better than "middle-of-the-road".
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 can8ianben (1095) - Souderton, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 19, 2006
Not bad, good flavour, nice thirst quenching beverage, lacks body and depth and wow factor. It’s basically a good beer, a slight step up from a traditional lager simply because it holds more bite, but nothing too special.

I have mixed feelings about this beer. On the upside, it was a present from Kim & Kelly when the came to visit, and I had a great time that night. On the downside, it wasn’t all that great going down and it was really bad on the way back up.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 eaglefan538 (2726) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - JUN 11, 2006
Golden bubbly appearance with a weak aroma (at least I didn’t pick much up). The lacing, however, was decent during consumption. The flavor was of citrus, light esters, and pale malts. The finish had some light grassiness in it and the honey flavors picked up mid-glass. The mouthfeel was obviously light. Not bad, but not outstanding. On par for a fairly boring style.
