COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A lighter ale brewed with very select pale malts and mildly flavored with a blend of special hops. This beer is exceptionally smooth, crisp and very drinkable with a rich gold color.

Clear amber color with medium white head. Head stayed throughout. Aroma is metallic and generic pilsner. Grainy flavor of malts and more metallic notes. Not so great.

12 ounce bottle from Total Wine in Richmond, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is dirty grain. Taste is fairly foul... pale grainy malts and something a bit like salty meat. Faint grassy hops. Thin, watery and highly carbonated. Poor effort.

Bottle Version. I was surprised to see that this beer is billed as a pilsener. The nose is very citric, fruity and ale-like, while the malt character shows wheaty dryness, not the typical cereal backbone you’d expect. This easy drinker has a bit of tartness that works for a hot weather poolside quaffer. Would not stand up to flavorful dark meats or Italian dishes, but fits well with lighter fare. Has this one on tap at the brewery as well, and comes across much better, with tartness dialed down and the malt dialed up.

So in an effort to conquer all the states, and then the nations, I had my friend Chris bring this back from his Myrtle Beach trip. And apparently even Carolinians will tell you their beer sucks, try something else. Well I have to disagree. This beer which was eventually found after quite an ordeal, has a couple good things going for it. The aroma has a nice amount of honey-like soft malt aromas. The appearance is at first a nice golden color with a fluffy white head, that quickly dissipates to absolutely nothing. Not really what I expect from a pilsener. The body is a clean coppery gold. The flavor is soft and pleasant with a nice amount of pale malts, no hops to speak of. The feel is genuinely soft and pleasant, very much a session type of beer. Nice.

Can. Had this while on vacation in NC. A solid session brew, but nothing special. Crisp and easy drinking.

Nice beer I asked for the local brew, I’m visiting from out of town. Clear and headless gold beer was much better than I expected. When it was brought to me I expected another pale lager, but was suprised that it actually had some taste to it. citrus overtones A small hint of fruit with a crisp finish. This went well with the cajuan shrimp that I had very well.

Bottle: A clear golden beer with a stable white film. Has a macroish aroma- sweet papery pale malts- slight oxidation and quite a bit of stale grassy character. Thin bodied with a macro feel to it. Has flavors of brewing cereal, corn sweetness and hardly any hop character. Some mild appleish sweetness, (a sign of a failed lager). Eh.

Poured a crystal clear pale yellow with a lot of big bubble carbonation and a thick white head. Aroma was yeast and some citrus. Pretty crisp light beer. Wasn’t great, wasn’t horrible. If some one gave this to me on a hot day I wouldn’t say no.
