COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A lighter ale brewed with very select pale malts and mildly flavored with a blend of special hops. This beer is exceptionally smooth, crisp and very drinkable with a rich gold color.

Strong aroma of yeast and mustiness. Flavor is more of the same. I think I’ll pass.

On tap at the Carolina Beer Co. bar at the Charlotte airport. Better than espected, for a pilsner that is.

Just like the commercial description says, it is a lighter flavored ale. Goes down easy and smooth.

It poured a cloudy, gold color with a small, quickly fading, white head. It was crisp. It was light in both hops and maltbut balanced. It left a mild aftertaste. Pleasant

January 2009 Beer of the Month Club

Overall Impression: It’s a slightly citrusy Blonde beer, it’s fine if that’s your thing, but it ain’t mine. For it’s style its solid I guess, hence the score (which was pretty generous). Anyway, not really my kind of beer, but I certainly finished the bottle.

(Bottle, courtesy of travita) Pours a clear yellow body with a spare white ring of bubbles. Aroma of grain, grass, and wet husks. Flavor of hops (grass), grain, and some caramel malt with a hint of metallic in the finish.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: Fine haze , amber gold , light white top.
Nose: Off grainy nose , slight citric hop hints. Somewhat fruity but in not refreshing way. 3+
Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied. Raw , grainy charcter. Poorly done brew. Thin, forgettable at finish.

I thought this would be a pilsner. My scores are geared towards that. Typically average for a beer. A little grainy in aroma and flavor. Some minimal white carbonated head that disappears quickly, a fair amount of carbonation throughout including on the palate.
