Draft. Pours pale yellow with medium head. Aroma of some hops, malt, and honey. Tastes malty, with some honey and hops at the finish. A decent blonde ale.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ughsmash (5824) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 30, 2006
Bottle thanks to Sumdog. Poured a clear straw yellow with a rather well-retained cap of white head. Nose was primarily of grass and yeasty notes with corn husk and faint hints of honey and other sweet malts. Corn stole the show in the flavor, but was strangely pleasant... graininess and grassy hops filled it out. Quite lightly-bodied, but not watery. Nothing remotely exciting or offensive here. Would certainly work for a lawnmower beer.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Radek Kliber (5308) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - FEB 28, 2009
Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: Fine haze , amber gold , light white top. Nose: Off grainy nose , slight citric hop hints. Somewhat fruity but in not refreshing way. 3+ Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied. Raw , grainy charcter. Poorly done brew. Thin, forgettable at finish.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - SEP 28, 2006
The best thing about my experience with this beer is that it came in a 16 ounce, squishy, brown plastic bottle. "Tall Blonde." Very confusing drink. The label reads, "A Genuine Pilsner Style Beer." That it ain’t, and "Golden Ale/Blonde Ale" is probably the best place to leave it. It pours a dirty straw color and doesn’t produce much of a head. It smells of malt and overly ripened pears. Tastes malty with old fruit and an odd bitterness. This is one of those beers that raises the question, "Why?"

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Drake (5231) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - SEP 3, 2009
12 ounce bottle from Total Wine in Richmond, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention
and lacing. Aroma is dirty grain. Taste is fairly foul... pale grainy malts and something a bit like salty meat.
Faint grassy hops. Thin, watery and highly carbonated. Poor effort.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ernest (5183) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 1, 2002
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is clear light yellow, light density of tiny and small particles. Aroma is lightly malty (light bread, grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a hint of bubble gum. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. Pleasant but light aroma, with an equally light (and mostly sweet) flavor profile.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 shrubber85 (5054) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 20, 2005
Bottle. Sour barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet-sour old barley malt aroma - not extremely pleasant - the same sort of flavor you get when fruit juice starts to turn. Possibly slight infected - just not that great.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Dogbrick (4837) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 15, 2003
From City Beverage in Winston-Salem. Pours a light clear gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Weak lacing. The aroma is light hops with a gentle underlying sweetness. Body is on the light side and is a little fizzy, with flavors of hops and some malt. The finish is lightly crisp and bitter. Kind of boring overall but a decent representation of the style.
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Beershine (4718) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - AUG 4, 2008
Charlotte airport, draught. Extra pale straw color with small head, off-white fizz and lots of bubbles. Bland grainy aroma is clean and boring as a wallflower. Mouthfeel is sweet and sticky and fizzy too. Tastes unpleasantly sweet with touch of tang. Needs more hops to balance it out. Watery, flavorless.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Braudog (4606) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - NOV 2, 2003
Medium maize-colored beer, thinly topped. Smooth and understated but well balanced. Good light beer.
