Very macro, or very not macro depending if you’re a "glass half full" or a "this beer sucks" kinda guy. That means it’s a sucky macro style beer that tastes only like a macro at half-mast. But as a micro beer, it tastes far too much like a macro. Either way this beer isn’t that great and I don’t know why I’m writing so much on it. It pours the color of a homeless man’s urine and tastes like a soccer mom’s urine. Do with that description what you will, but thank me that I stalled you for 40 seconds before you bought this beer if you’re reading this.

Jul 25, 2008 Pours clear golden in color. Small white head with decent lacing. Very carbonated. Grainy aromas with notes of lemon and malts . Tastes of bread yeasts, spices, malts, very little hops.

Pale straw colour. Not much nose - slighty fruity. Really husky, and sticky sweet. Lots of fruity esters, but no hops for them to play with. Too sweet. Major conceptual problems.

Jun 29, 2008 Tasted on a recent visit to Woods on South in Charlotte, NC. Generally light yellow in color with a very thin white head that dissipates to nothing. Aroma is faint with maybe some wheat and spices. Little fruitiness on tasting, but not many flavors came through. Generally watery mouthfeel with quick finish.

Jun 12, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small white head, almost no apparent carbonation. Light spiceyness in the aroma along with some fruit notes. Light fruityness in the flavor along with a bit of spice and some light caramel malts. Mouthfeel is medium with light carbonation. Finish is slightly sweet. Quite drinkable. Bottle says a pilsner style but i think really too malt accentuated and not enough nobel hop character for a pilsner.

Jun 4, 2008 pours almost a clear golden body with a medium sized white head. lots of carbonation and a mildly grassy aroma. basically the only thing i could smell out of it. decent beer, like many said- nice example of a pilsner.
