COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Literally "dark wheat" in German, this beer has similar fruity-clove yeast characteristics like a hefeweizen though somewhat more restrained. In addition to the wheat, this Bavarian style recipe also features caramel malt and roasted barley. These ingredients lend a distinctive malty profile to this lightly hopped brown ale.
