COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally, this intensely hopped ale was brewed in the 18th century to survive the long sea journey from the cooler breweries in England, around the Cape of Africa to India where the temperatures were too warm to brew. This beer has a unique floral aroma from the generous addition of Cascade hops to the fermenter in a procedure known as dry hopping.

Brewgrass 2012 - pours orange with a white wispy head that reduces to a light cap. The nose is woody and spicy. The Flavors are quite spicy, dry atop bitters, with muddy citrus coming through. Medium bodied, but full of substance, this is complex and an easy quaff. Nice sessionista! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a really interesting brew. Pours golden with a very small amount of head. Fairly little aroma to it, thought I can detect a slight hoppiness to it. The taste is extremely hoppy and bitter, though it finishes very clean and smooth.
