On draft at the Franklin Street brewpub. Like Tom said, glad to have had a chance at this. Deep orange pour, faintly cloudy, with a nice thick head to it. Lots of tropical fruits in the nose, and of course the familiar bite of the advertised hop. Interesting taste, in many ways more like a very fruity (almost too sweet) SoCal DIPA (like an Alpine homebrew) than a strong pils, but the finish is strongly bitter, almost over-compensating. Not always so balanced or well integrated, but enjoyable.

on tap at Pittsboro location, 03/12/11. Good aroma, sweet, malty, cereal grain, little peppery. Clean golden orange color, no head or lace. Sweet flavor. Thick body, lite creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry sweet finish. Good brew. flavor had nice malty sweetness with a grassy bitterness. glad I caught this while it was around.
