Another house beer from Carolina Ale House in Cary. Gold pour with aroma and taste of malt, some hopcit, and finishing honey crispness.
Earlier Rating: 4/25/2005 Total Score: 1.7
Pale gold pour with slight hopcit aroma. Not much taste, with some hopcit. Bland.

Draught.Clear golden color. The head was gone by the time it came to the table. Subtle citrus hop flavor and taste. Crisp finish with honey/buttery aftertaste. Not bad.

You have to rate it based on style and this is a pretty decent light beer. Not as bad as some of those macros out there, but you must remember, it is still a light beer.

Drank from the tap at the brewery. Faint aroma of light malt. Taste is very clean, slightly watery with an almost graham cracker like aftertaste. Not bad for a light beer.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2003 Little to no hint of the Carolina Blonde that it's allegedly modeled after. Decent for a light beer, but it's still not a whole lot more than beer-flavored water.

Pretty decent light beer. The only Carolina Blonde for me is NEEZY (with her hair died blonde). She is my Carolina Brunette. But this is a pretty tasty light beer, IMO.

I'm not much for light beers. This particular one pours a cloudy, pale golden color with particles of yeast? floating in it. The aroma is slightly hoppy without any malty sweetness. It has a light body up front, which turns into bland ,watery nothingness in the finish. The flavor is just slightly malty up front. The finish is bland, tasteless, and watery.

Tasted on a recent visit to Woods on South in Charlotte, NC. Generally light in color with a very thin white head that dissipates to nothing. Aroma is very faint, some wheat present. Very little flavor to this beer with a slightly bitter finish. Reasonable for a light beer.
