COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium bodied, dark brown ale with a complex chocolatey, toasted malt taste. The word "nut" in the name implies a dry nut-like taste that makes it distinct from some of the sweeter brwon ales.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of oldstylecubsfa n. Thanks Todd. Pours a clear brown color with a small whitish head. The aroma is moderately sweet, nutty, with some caramel malt. The flavor is a nice mix of moderately sweet malt, chocolate, light nuts, and a small amount of bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. Very drinkable for a style I usually don’t enjoy too much.

Strong, malty aroma has a firm overtone of molasses and hints of brown sugar, caramel and chocolate. It pours a lovely clear cola brown with a typical pale tan head that leaves minimal lacing. Flavor is crisp and malty with a molasses undertone and hints of chocolate and burnt wood. Smooth texture has average body and fizziness, but is still pleasing.

Sienna brown appearance with a small beige head and good lacing. Roasted malt aroma of chocolate and caramel. Woodsy flavor, with strong notes of chocolate, toffee and roasted grains and subdued notes of dark fruits. Medium bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel leading to a lingering finish.

I liked this Beer and it got better as it got warmer, as the carmel tastes built. A lot of delicat flavors in this brown amber beer with modest head.

Pours a deep mahogany with a light lacing of tan heady goodness. Aroma is fresh baked bread, caramel and a hint of chocolate. Light to medium body, flavor is smooth and balanced: chocolate and bready malt are the dominating flavors with some hints of minerally citrus and a slight earthiness in the finish. Crisp, fresh and balanced, a perfect summer companion. Cheers!

Bottle. Poured a clear medium brown with an average sized off white creamy head that was mostly lasting and had excellent lacing. The aroma was of a nutty bread malt and a sweet doughy yeast with notes of coffee, brown sugar and milk chocolate. It tasted rather mild yet slightly bitter with a hint of coffee in the beginning and finished quite malty with a note of chocolate and had a nutty flavor at the end with the flavor lasting only a short while. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and creamy in texture with a medium carbonation. Overall a nice nut brown, very smooth and easy to drink.

Light copper color, too light for the style. Nutty yeasty malty aroma, some off flavor present. Caramel and nut in the taste. A bit watery.

From bottle. Mild malt aroma. Some brown sugar and biscuit. Light papery hops, a bit oxidized. Nutty coppery brown clear with light haze. Thin off-white head. Medium watery body with medium-high carbonation. Medium sweet nutty start, caramel and dusty grain, mild hop bitterness and carbonic acidity. Nutty sweet finish.

Poured into a pint glass. A: Very dark brown or perhaps a deep purple. Good head retention with lacing here and there. I really like the color, but overall not too impressive. S: Really nutty with powerful caramel. Hints of wood. Cool spring water. T: After the appearance and smell, the taste was disappointing. There just isn’t a whole lot going on. Flavors are mainly nut and nothing too much else. M: Empty carbonation (bubbles with no bite or flavor). D: You can chug these all night and not miss out on anything (so long as you smell it’s wonderful scent first). Serving type: bottle
