COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This amber colored beer is our interpretation of the classic British Pale Ale originating in Burton-Upon-Trent, England. Three varieties of American grown hops create a pleasing bitterness, aroma and lingering hop taste. Our Pale Ale’s medium-light body and clean taste make it an excellent accompaniment to a fine meal or a satisfying drink all by itself.

Bottle. Pours a slightly dark gold hue with a small white head. The nose is a little unclean with hints of skunk and hay. A bit of caramel and papery hops are noted too. The mouthfeel is thin, but not overly so. Some simple barley notes and generic sweetness make up the flavor. A dash of wooden hop flavor. This is a basic introductory brew.

Draft at Hilton in Raleigh, NC - Poured a pale amber in color with a small white head that quickly faded. Aroma is somewhat of malt and faint of hops... not real strong. Flavor is also quite mild and mirrors the aroma pretty closely. Has a weird aftertaste that follows a lightly bitter finish. Not real good...

This is pretty much a middle of the road beer. Nice and drinkable and much better than swill, but not great. It had some hop flavor, but not as smooth as I would have liked to see it.

Pours a clear golden color no head ... light sweet malt aroma ... medium bodied slightly skunky taste little bit of sweet malt taste and just a little hop at the end not a good example of a pale ale, but its not crap either

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Crystal clear gold with a small, foamy, white head. Aroma: Very hard to detect. Slight hint of urine. Taste: Light malt notes, noble hops perhaps, and a little graininess. Palate: Medium carbonation with medium-light, slightly dry mouthfeel. Medium-short finish. Overall: Reminds me more of a Kolsch than a pale ale. Lacks body and flavor. Satisfying my ass.

Draft- This beer tastes much more like an APA than an English pale. The hops are quite overbearing and create a very unbalanced beer. Quite disappointing since I enjoy this brewery’s other offerings.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2010 Served on draft at the Flying Saucer in Raleigh. Pours a brown color. Faint aroma with some mild malty notes. .The taste has a nice citrus hop profile, but sadly also is off-balanced and has some off-flavors. Medium bodied. Disappointing beer.

12oz bottle. Orange color. Slight aroma of toffee. Flavor lacks. Not much to say. Tastes like a lager. Good hop finish, just not malt character.

Very pale, almost yellow color. Thin, weak head. Spicey, earthy, sour aroma. Plenty of bitter but I woudln’t call it clean. Very thin body. Mildly upleasant aftertaste stays with you a while. I might even call it sour. I’m just not loving this beer.

This is bad. Watery with a metallic taste. Hardly any aroma and what there is is not good. Very thin finish. Lousy
