COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the style of a German Maibock, expect a smooth, fresh, malty taste and a slight alcohol warming sensation from this pale lager beer.

Tap at brewery. A surprisingly good spring offering from this small brewery. I’d never heard of them since they only distribute in NC, and was skeptical about southern beer brewing, but was pleasantly surprised by this one. A bit more hoppy than I’d like, but that didn’t detract too much. Very flavorful, not at all bland or boring. I’d definitely buy this if it were sold near me.

On draft. Light orange golden color, thin head. Sweet malty aroma, bread, honey. Taste is sweet, some bitter in the finish and higher than average carbonation. Pretty good overall.

Copper pour with little to no head. Malty aroma, with some bread yeasts. Flavor was malty and hint of alcohol. Finish was slightly metallic. Drinkable but nothing special.

This fabulous extra was provided bottle form by kp. Thanks Keith! Pours a reddish brown with a medium head and little retention. Grainy, malty aroma... rice and creamed corn. Pretty much the same taste as the aroma. Strong grain taste, almost comically so. Alcohol is barely noticeable. Drinkable.

Copper pour with spotty off white lacing. Honey and fruit on the nose. Malty with a balanced hop flavor. Clean and refreshing, however it is very thin bodied.

Bottle courtesy of kp: Pours a transparent copper amber with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet, lightly toasted caramely malt and some noble hops. Body starts with a nice mild sweetness and earthy bittering hop balance before a crisp, smooth fairly full finish. An authentic and drinkable heller bock.
