Commercial Description:
The strawberry fields of North Carolina are the inspiration for this amber-colored ale made with the finest malts and hops and enhanced with real strawberries. The result is a refreshing, full-bodied, crisp ale that bursts on your palate with just the right hint of sweetness for balance.

Pours clear, yellow, with a fine, white head. Aroma is very akin to strawberry pie. Flavor is lightly grainy with a pleasant strawberry flavor. I’m a fan. Thin mouth feel.

12 oz. Foggy orange-copper with a small, lasting head that leaves some soapy lace. Aroma is strawberries and cream. Front flavor is light tart berry with some caramel apple, then a woody-resin and dry grass finish. Light body is watery and finishes dryish. Tastes like a decent bitter with a light dose of strawberry; pretty decent fruit beer.

Tasted on a recent visit to Woods on South in Charlotte, NC. We were curious about what this would taste like given the fruit of choice used by the brewer. Pours a relatively clear yellow color with thin off-white head. Fruity aromas, but not sure we detected strawberries. Definitely ripe fruit and grain. Taste has notes of strawberry and other fruity flavors. Generally watery mouthfeel with quick finish. Interesting.

Smell of strawberries. This is basically Blonde with some berry flavor. Even the wife had one and she doesn’t drink. Not a bad beer.

12 oz bottle...murky gold w/ a white head. HUGE nose of super, sweet strawberries! Flavor reminded me of strawberry flavored syrup added to a light beer. It was very watery w/ some fizzy carbonation. The sweetness stuck to my palate like velcro! I would only recommend this beer to girly-men.
