COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We changed it up this year. We made a Kolsch/Extra Pale Ale Hybrid. We took the best of two great beer styles, an Extra Pale Ale and a Kolsch, to create this one of a kind beer. It combines Pale and Crystal barley malt with malted wheat to give it a crisp flavor. It doesn’t finish quite as sharp as a pale ale; due to the wheat it’s a little fuller and rounder. It has a golden color, and is finished with Washington state Nugget and Cascade hops. We ferment it for 4 weeks using a subtle American ale yeast. It has an alcohol level of 4.8% ABV.

Pours a clean and sharp straw gold with one to two fingers of creamy white head. LIght grassy aroma with a hint of delicate malt sweetness. Grassy in the flavor with a spicy/zesty quality and light bread component. Pretty clean with a slightly green character and hint of skunked. Light bodied and clean finish.

On Draft at brewery. Pours a orange golden color thin white head. Aroma is on the mild side, bread, floral, and grass. Mild sweet flavor with a good bitter hop balance. Medium light body, slightly above average carbonation level. Crisp and refreshing summer brew.
