Apr 15, 2008 Bottle from OldGrowth. Pour was full brown color, clear body, nice head and lacing. The aroma was roasted coffee, light chocolate. The flavor followed the aroma, coffee strikingly nice at times, less impressive at others, but overall decent. The caramel, nutty roastedness behind it all made for a nice, yet simplistic brew. Thanks, Tom, a decent one.

Mar 18, 2008 12oz bottle. clear medium to dark brown. Sweet malt aroma, some toasty in the nose. Flavor is a bit of coffee and toasted grains. Besides that, just to flat to WOW me! (bottled on 01.09.08)

Mar 15, 2008 Pours a nice dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is malt, roast, and juicy pungent hops. Flavor is roasty, astringent, and a bitter juicy citrus hop finish.

Feb 21, 2008 12 oz bottle thanks to OldGrowth. Pours a thin brown into black with a thin tan head which dissipated quickly. Smell was nutty. Taste was nutty and roasty with maybe a hint of coffee. Mouthfeel was medium-to-thin. This was ok, but nothing to remember.
